About the Role
OneStaff Medical is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to deliver exceptional, family-centered care to critically ill children across diverse hospital settings. In this contract role, you will manage complex pediatric conditions, including ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients, while coordinating closely with a multidisciplinary team. You will adapt quickly to new environments, uphold strict safety and documentation standards, and provide vital support to families navigating challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide age-appropriate, family-centered nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- check_circleMonitor, interpret, and respond to complex pediatric cardiac, respiratory, and hemodynamic status
- check_circleAdminister medications, blood products, and treatments in accordance with PICU protocols
- check_circleOperate and troubleshoot ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical-care equipment
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
- check_circleMaintain accurate documentation and comply with all hospital and regulatory standards
- check_circleAdapt quickly to new hospital environments and workflows as a travel nurse
- check_circleParticipate in quality and safety initiatives to improve pediatric critical care outcomes
- check_circlePrecept and mentor less-experienced staff when appropriate
- check_circleEducate and support patients' families regarding condition, treatment, and discharge planning
Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license
- verifiedBLS certification
