The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialized 6-bed unit dedicated to providing direct patient care to critically ill adult patients. We operate using the nursing process in strict accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, guided by the organization's core values and mission.

About the Role

As an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse, you will embrace a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. This role is designed for a nurse who excels in leadership and clinical excellence, serving as a pivotal link between patient care and team management.

In this position, you will supervise and mentor nursing and support staff during assigned night shifts, determining staffing levels and assignments based on census, acuity, and workflow. While you will float between staff to assist with problem-solving and ensure necessary equipment is available, you will also provide direct patient care as needed, taking assignments to meet staffing needs. Your day will involve evaluating the effectiveness of patient care, integrating evidence-based practices into operations, and fostering an environment that encourages professional growth and continuous learning.
