About the Role
We are seeking a Travel ER RN to deliver exceptional emergency care in diverse healthcare settings across the U.S. In this role, you will adapt quickly to fast-paced environments and make a meaningful impact on patient care while advancing your nursing career. You will partner with interdisciplinary teams to assess and stabilize patients across the lifespan, handling a wide range of acute and critical conditions.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be able to meet facility-specific credentialing and background requirements. You will participate in orientation and ongoing competency requirements at each facility to ensure readiness for your travel assignments.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssess and stabilize emergency department patients across the lifespan with acute and critical conditions
- check_circleAdminister medications, fluids, and treatments safely including IV therapy per provider orders
- check_circleMonitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status while responding to condition changes
- check_circleAssist providers with emergency procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and wound care
- check_circleParticipate in codes and rapid response calls using ACLS, BLS, and PALS/TNCC protocols
- check_circleDocument assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the Electronic Medical Record
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
- check_circleEducate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- check_circleAdapt quickly to different facility policies, workflows, and documentation systems across travel assignments
- check_circlePerform rapid triage, prioritize patient needs, and initiate appropriate interventions
- check_circleAdhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policies including PPE usage
- check_circleOperate ER equipment such as defibrillators and infusion pumps
Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- verifiedMinimum of 1–2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedPALS preferred or required at select facilities
- verifiedTNCC or equivalent strongly preferred
- verifiedCEN preferred
- verifiedAbility to meet facility-specific credentialing and background requirements
- verifiedUp-to-date vaccinations and health screenings
Nice to Have
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or equivalent, CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification
