As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Clinical Decision Unit at Liberty Hospital, you will serve as a vital link in the continuum of care, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate an interdisciplinary approach to patient treatment. In this position, you will provide safe, therapeutic care while acting as a resource, preceptor, and mentor to the team. Your day will involve performing comprehensive assessments, triaging patient needs, and delivering direct nursing care, including the administration of chemotherapy, blood components, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
Beyond clinical duties, you will foster an environment where all team members thrive by delegating appropriately and modeling individualized therapeutic communication that respects the psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age-specific needs of every patient. You will also coordinate healthcare services across hospital departments, vendors, and physician offices, ensuring a seamless experience for those under your care.
