About the Role
This position is dedicated to restoring and promoting patient health within our Behavioral Health Unit. You will serve as a vital link in the nursing process, conducting initial assessments within 24 hours of admission and reassessing patients routinely throughout their stay. Your work involves creating individualized treatment plans, coordinating nursing care activities, and conducting therapies tailored to each patient's diagnosis and needs.
In this role, you will operate within a compassionate environment, providing essential emotional and psychological support to patients, their families, and friends. You will participate in individual, group, and family psychotherapy as well as educational seminars. Beyond clinical duties, you will collaborate with physicians, multi-disciplinary team members, and outside health and social service agencies to ensure comprehensive care. You will also be responsible for maintaining continuity among nursing teams through clear documentation and communication, while mentoring new staff and orienting them to our protocols.
Hiring Process & Bonus Opportunity
We are currently offering a $5,000 bonus for eligible candidates. This bonus is available to external candidates and internal candidates who are new registered nurses, provided they commit to a 24-month employment term.
