The Emergency Department Technician II serves as a vital support member of the clinical team, reporting to the Nurse Manager and working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. This multi-skilled role is designed to facilitate efficient patient care within the Chest Pain and Observation unit.
In this position, you will perform a variety of clinical and logistical tasks to support the emergency department's operations. The role requires adaptability, as you will work rotating 12-hour shifts that include weekends and holidays. You will interact with patients and families, assist with patient transfers and mobility, and maintain a safe environment in a fast-paced setting. Success in this role depends on the ability to manage stressful situations effectively while collaborating with a dedicated team.
