The Hope Center Oncology Practice is a specialized outpatient oncology unit located in Asheville, NC, dedicated to providing personalized, long-term care to patients navigating cancer diagnoses and treatment. Our team includes surgeons, a medical oncologist, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs, Medical Assistants, and Schedulers who work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive and compassionate cancer care.
As a Magnet® designated hospital for nursing excellence, Mission Hospital serves as the regional tertiary and quaternary care center in Western North Carolina. This Registered Nurse position is designed for compassionate and adaptable professionals who want to make a lasting impact on the lives of oncology patients. Unlike roles focused solely on acute episodes, our patients often stay with us for the duration of their cancer journey—from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. This unique continuity allows nurses to build lasting, supportive relationships and witness the difference their care makes over time.
You will serve as an integral member of the care team, working side-by-side with providers to facilitate professional nursing care. Your day will involve utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families. We value a culture of camaraderie where mutual respect and shared decision-making guide daily work, encouraging your input and fostering professional growth.
While oncology experience is a plus, we prioritize attitude, compassion, and a commitment to patient-centered care. We are looking for team players who are eager to learn and flexible enough to adapt to change.
Our Talent Acquisition team is currently reviewing applications for this full-time, day-shift position. We encourage you to submit your application today to join a team that values your contributions and allows you to walk alongside patients through some of life's most important moments.
