About the Role

The Behavioral Health RN (BH RN) serves as a vital clinical leader within the Emergency Department, providing primary support to the behavioral health population. While the focus is on behavioral health, this role also extends to caring for lower acuity medical patients presenting to the emergency department.

In this position, you will demonstrate clinical competency by utilizing evidence-based practices in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. You will identify patient, unit, and organizational priorities, ensuring that care is delivered with respect for the patient's cultural, spiritual, and belief systems. Your day-to-day involves collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and families, to develop individualized plans of care that ensure continuity and smooth transitions post-discharge.

Requirements
