About the Role

The Home Therapies RN CAP 1 position serves as an entry-level designation within the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). As a vital member of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) healthcare team, you will be accountable for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.

In this role, you will manage patients' responses to home dialysis training and treatment therapy by following prescribed protocols. You will collaborate with physicians, the interdisciplinary team, and home care partners to ensure safe and effective delivery of dialysis therapy. Your responsibilities extend to teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities designed to enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.

About the Team

You will join a dedicated team focused on advancing home dialysis capabilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in the identification, evaluation, and education of Home Dialysis candidates and their partners. You will play a key role in assessing home environments and training patients on the safe operation of dialysis equipment, ensuring they are prepared for treatment in the comfort of their own homes.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure and CPR BLS Certification. While this is an entry-level role for the CAP program, successful completion of Fresenius Kidney Care education and training requirements is mandatory. Team Leader oversight responsibilities may be assigned after meeting specific experience criteria, including 12 months of RN experience and 3 months of home dialysis experience.
