About the Role

This position serves as a Charge Nurse on the evening shift, providing direct patient care grounded in the ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies, and the RI Nurse Practice Act. You will participate in treatment planning to coordinate the management of medical and nursing care, as well as discharge planning. A key part of your day involves coordinating psychiatric and/or medical emergencies to ensure the individual in crisis receives proper care while maintaining safety for all other patients. As an active team member, you will assist colleagues and accept additional assignments to complete essential patient care and unit responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits

This role is eligible for a $3.00/hr. Charge Pay differential, with additional differentials for evenings ($1.50/hr.), nights ($2.75/hr.), and weekends (15%/hr.). Additionally, the position offers $2,000/year in RN Loan Repayment. Specific details regarding these benefits can be reviewed during the interview or at the time of offer.
