The Behavioral Health Sciences unit at Robert Packer Hospital is a 26-bed acute inpatient facility primarily serving adolescents from age 14 through adulthood. The unit focuses on an interdisciplinary care approach, ensuring that patients receive coordinated, safe, and compassionate treatment tailored to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse on the Behavioral Health Sciences unit, you will provide professional, comprehensive nursing care in an acute care environment. You will be accountable for delivering evidence-based quality care that optimizes patient outcomes and supports transitions across the continuum. This role requires you to practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, advocating for the autonomy, dignity, and rights of the patients and families you serve.
You will foster a learning environment for patients, families, and the healthcare team, integrating evidence-based practice into daily care. As a leader in the practice setting, you will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff as equal members of an inter-professional team, utilizing critical judgment to manage urgent responses and challenging situations. Your work will be guided by a culture of inquiry that explores and disseminates research to improve patient safety and outcomes.

Requirements
