As a nurse on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will care for a wide range of moderately complex patients across two unique units, R3 and R4. Our team approach promotes wellness through assessment, monitoring, and education for critically ill patients. The PCU provides advanced monitoring with sophisticated equipment and intensive treatments.

About the Role
The Progressive Care nurse primarily treats patients with complex diagnoses including compromised airways requiring intensive respiratory therapy, multisystem failure, neurologic abnormalities, metabolic crises, multiple trauma, and cardiac events such as myocardial infarction and heart failure. Daily responsibilities involve managing invasive hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia analysis, thrombolytic therapy, GI bleeding, and acute dialysis.
This role is designed for nurses seeking professional growth in a supportive environment. You will work with a team dedicated to evolving patient care through sophisticated technology and a collaborative spirit. There is no on-call requirement for this position.
