Orthopedics stands as the largest service line, alongside OB-GYN, General Surgery, Cardiac, Neuro, ENT, Urology, Plastics, and Podiatry.

About the Role

We are launching a brand-new Ortho Surgery RN Program Coordinator opportunity at Lutheran Hospital. This is a unique chance to be one of the first leaders on a creative, hardworking, and close-knit team of surgeons and Ortho OR RN professionals. As an Ortho OR RN Clinical Coordinator, you will supervise hospital activities and coordinate between patient care areas and other departments to ensure the delivery of safe, appropriate, and innovative patient care.

Your day will involve supervising daily staffing and productivity, serving as a mentor and clinical resource, and acting as a leadership voice in performance improvement activities. You will partner with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment to patient-focused service, ethics, and integrity. While you will perform the responsibilities of an RN as needed, your primary focus is on leading, role-modeling, and developing the personnel engaged in providing excellent care. You will oversee training, manage associate performance, and proactively seek opportunities to improve financial outcomes and patient engagement.
