Lutheran Hospital has served the Wheat Ridge and surrounding communities for over 100 years. Evolving from humble beginnings as a tuberculosis sanitarium, it is now one of the country's best hospitals, holding a Level II trauma designation and Magnet status for nursing excellence. In 2024, Lutheran opened a brand-new facility to provide greater access to life-saving emergency services. Our Operating Room features 9 surgical suites, including a heart room and a cystoscopy room, with specialties ranging from OB-GYN and General Surgery to Orthopedics (our largest service line), Cardiac, Neuro, ENT, Urology, Plastics, and Podiatry. We are proud to be a Heart and Neurovascular Center, an accredited Chest Pain Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a Level II Trauma Center. We are currently launching a brand-new Ortho Surgery department and seeking one of the first leaders to join our creative, hardworking, close-knit group of Surgeons and Ortho OR RN professionals.

About the Role

As an Ortho Surgery RN Program Coordinator, you will bring your body, mind, heart, and spirit to your work. This role is designed for someone who stays organized, moves fast, and responds calmly in high-pressure situations. You are generous with your thoughts and partnerships, driven by a passion for patient care, and eager to be part of something greater than yourself.

In this position, you will supervise hospital activities and coordinate between patient care areas and other departments to ensure the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care for a specific shift. You will serve as a role model, mentor, and clinical resource for your team, supporting associates in resolving patient and unit issues. Your day will involve leading performance improvement activities, participating in the selection of personnel, and overseeing training to ensure compliance with all policies and accreditation standards. You will partner with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment to patient-focused service, innovation, and integrity.
