About the Role
This Registered Nurse position is dedicated to the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. You will serve as a vital liaison between administration, patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers, ensuring a cohesive interdisciplinary approach to patient needs.
In this role, you will develop and coordinate nursing care plans with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Your day-to-day involves assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stay, managing pain, administering medications safely, and providing education to patients and families. You will also participate in discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients and their families. The role requires you to treat patients and their families with respect and dignity, addressing their psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and spiritual needs while maintaining a safe environment that minimizes medical errors.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma
- verifiedCurrent state licensure as Registered Nurse
- verifiedBCLS certification
- verifiedMinimum six months Medical/Surgical experience in acute care setting preferred
- verifiedFluent English
- verifiedBasic computer knowledge
Nice to Have
ACLS certification. Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting.
