As a Registered Nurse on our Night Shift team in Orlando, you will be the vital link in delivering comprehensive patient care. Your day involves assessing and interpreting diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes. Based on these findings, you will make appropriate decisions and implement interventions according to patients' actual or potential health needs.
You will set measurable short and long-range goals, developing and implementing individualized plans of care that address physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. Your role extends to prioritizing follow-up assessments, evaluating progress, and modifying care plans as needed. You will support quality standards and initiatives, exhibiting a desire to learn, teach, mentor, and advance nursing skills while adhering to the American Nurses Association Scope, Standards, and Code of Ethics.
Communication is central to your success. You will interact effectively with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring thorough hand-offs, and utilize appropriate techniques to engage with patients, families, and visitors to promote an exceptional patient experience. This includes conducting hourly rounding and ensuring strict adherence to infection prevention precautions and medication safety protocols.
We believe in supporting the whole person. From Day One, you will have access to Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Life and Disability Insurance, and a 403-B Retirement Plan. We offer Paid Time Off from Day One, 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave, and comprehensive resources for career development, whole person well-being, and mental health support.
