The Nursing Graduate position serves as a foundational step in your nursing career, working under the direct line-of-sight supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) within the clinical setting. This role is designed to bridge the gap between academic preparation and independent practice, allowing you to participate in the patient care delivery process while orienting to RN assignments.
In the Labor and Delivery department at Cassia Regional Hospital, you will engage in the nursing process—from assessment and planning to implementation and evaluation—always under the guidance of a licensed RN. This includes collecting patient data, observing care prioritization, and participating in patient and family education. The position offers a unique opportunity to learn the intricacies of nursing care in a high-acuity environment while progressing through the Intermountain Nurse Residency program.
This role is specifically tailored for Registered Nurse graduates who have enrolled in and started coursework in the Intermountain Nurse Residency program. If you have more than one year of nursing experience, you are encouraged to apply to "Experienced RN" positions instead, as the residency program is not required for those candidates.
