The Nursing Graduate position serves as a foundational step in your nursing career, working under the direct line-of-sight supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) within the clinical setting. This role is designed to orient you to the RN assignment while excluding independent nursing care. You will participate in the patient care delivery process, including medication administration under the direction of a licensed RN, and engage in the full nursing process—from assessment and planning to implementation and evaluation.
This position is located in the Labor and Delivery department at Cassia Regional Hospital in Burley, Idaho. It is a full-time role (36 hours per week) featuring variable shifts. Successful candidates must be enrolled in and have started coursework in the Intermountain Nurse Residency program before providing direct patient care. Note that RNs with more than one year of nursing experience are not required to attend the residency program and should apply to "Experienced RN" positions instead.
The Intermountain Nurse Residency program is a critical component of your professional development. It provides the structured training and support necessary to transition from nursing student to competent practitioner. You are expected to achieve Registered Nurse licensure in a timely manner and successfully complete all orientation and training requirements, including progression through the residency program. For more details on the program, visit the Intermountain Health professional training page.
