About the Role
This position serves as the operational leader for the patient care area, responsible for day-to-day management and long-term planning. You will direct and develop staff while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary professional staff to achieve optimal patient results and outcomes.
In this role, you will ensure the establishment and maintenance of high standards of care and practice. You will manage unit operations in compliance with safety and quality standards, overseeing the scheduling process to maintain appropriate staffing levels. Your day will involve fostering a culture of continuous learning through orientation, education, and professional development programs for your team. You will also act as the primary point of contact for patient and customer relations, resolving complaints and initiating service recovery efforts.
Hiring Process
Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice and be NRP and PALS certified. We look for individuals with 1-3 years of leadership experience and a Bachelor's degree in nursing as preferred qualifications.

- check_circleDevelop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety
- check_circleOversee position control, staff mix, and scheduling to maintain appropriate staffing levels
- check_circleDirect staff development, orientation, education, and credentialing processes
- check_circleEstablish and maintain standards of care, practice, and competency-based programs
- check_circleLead employee lifecycle activities including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance appraisals
- check_circleResolve patient complaints, manage customer relations, and initiate risk management referrals
Requirements
