The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Internal Travel Team will rotate across Mayo Clinic sites in Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, and Wisconsin as determined by patient care needs. Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs support ED settings across our Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) hospitals in Minnesota and Wisconsin, assessing, triaging, and treating patients of all ages.
Our MCHS EDs range from Level I to Level IV trauma centers, so the exact role performed from site to site can vary based on patient demand, resource availability, and facility practices. As a member of the Central Staffing Pool, you will provide contingency staffing support across nursing sites. You will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, accountable for planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care. This role requires flexibility and adaptability to work assignments and schedules, including the ability to travel on a routine basis to various locations.
