We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Staff Nurse II position on our Inpatient Oncology Unit, located in the Miller building. This role involves rotating shifts between nights (19:00–07:30) and days (07:00–19:30), totaling 36 hours per week.
As a Hematology/Oncology Nurse, you will deliver comprehensive care to patients with cancer diagnoses across various stages, including autologous stem cell transplants and end-of-life care. Your responsibilities will include administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, and targeted therapies, while managing illness and treatment-related symptoms. You will serve as a vital partner to patients and families, providing education and exceptional support throughout their unique cancer journeys.
Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively with physicians, LNAs, oncology pharmacists, social workers, case managers, palliative care specialists, clinical dietitians, PTs, and RTs to ensure holistic care. We believe that patient and family involvement are essential components of this care model. Additionally, we actively support and encourage professional growth through certifications, conferences, and courses, with opportunities to advance through our Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP).
