The Department of Mental Health at the Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center is a 60-bed inpatient psychiatric facility dedicated to providing comprehensive, timely forensic evaluations to determine pre-trial competency and criminal responsibility. We also deliver quality, integrated care to support an individual's recovery journey through ongoing psychiatric treatment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to work with resilient patients navigating their journey on the road to recovery. In this role, you will function as a vital member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, assuming responsibility for nursing care on the inpatient unit.
Your day will involve preparing, administering, and documenting patient medications and treatments while maintaining accurate patient and nursing records. You will serve as a resource person regarding patient health issues, acting as a leader or co-leader of patient treatment groups. Additionally, you will supervise Mental Health Workers (MHW I–IV), oversee paraprofessional staff, and manage the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
