About the Team

Ashley River Tower (ART) perioperative services is located on the fourth floor of the ART building, offering a nationally recognized environment for adult outpatient and inpatient surgeries. Our surgical service lines include general, plastics, oncology, cardiac, thoracic, heart and lung transplants, vascular, colorectal, bariatric, and robotics. MUSC's heart and lung transplant program is certified by the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and stands as the only such program in South Carolina.

We are recognized for excellence in cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and transplant surgery, as well as general and GI surgery. Our facility is nationally renowned for the management of chronic pancreatitis and bariatric surgery. Dedicated ORs house traditional cardiac surgery, heart transplants, and support the VAD program, while our heart and vascular center provides innovative solutions like TAVR procedures. We are committed to delivering the highest quality of care and service through the discipline of surgery.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level. You will utilize the principles and practices of the nursing process to deliver safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results. This role operates under general supervision within a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic team environment.

You will be part of a team that offers innovative solutions to manage and treat disease. The position requires flexibility to work in a 24-hour charge nurse coverage environment, ensuring seamless care for emergency cases and weekend needs. Hiring Process & Application

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 is available for external candidates who commit to a 2-year term. Note that candidates must have at least 2 years of OR experience to qualify.
