The Hope Center Oncology Practice is a specialized outpatient oncology unit located in Asheville, NC, dedicated to providing personalized, long-term care to patients navigating cancer diagnoses and treatment. Our multidisciplinary team includes surgeons, medical oncologists, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs, Medical Assistants, and Schedulers who work in close collaboration to deliver comprehensive and compassionate cancer care.
As a Magnet® designated hospital for nursing excellence, Mission Hospital serves as the regional tertiary and quaternary care center for Western North Carolina. We are proud to be part of HCA Healthcare, an organization recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times. Our mission is rooted in the belief that "there is so much good to do in the world and so many different ways to do it."
This Registered Nurse position is designed for compassionate and adaptable professionals who want to make a lasting impact on the lives of oncology patients. Unlike roles focused solely on acute episodes, the Hope Center supports patients for the duration of their cancer journey—from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship.
In this role, you will be an integral member of the care team, working side-by-side with providers to facilitate professional nursing care. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while also delegating, supervising, and documenting patient education and interventions. The unique nature of this practice allows you to build lasting, supportive relationships with patients facing life-changing diagnoses, witnessing the difference your care makes over time.
Our culture fosters a strong sense of camaraderie, mutual respect, and shared mission. We value nurses who are eager to learn, flexible in the face of change, and deeply committed to patient-centered care. While oncology experience is a plus, your attitude, compassion, and dedication are what matter most.
Our Talent Acquisition team is currently reviewing applications for this full-time, day-shift position. If you are ready to join a team that prioritizes teamwork and allows you to walk alongside patients through some of life's most important moments, we encourage you to submit your application today.
Mission Health is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
