The Hope Center Oncology Practice is a specialized outpatient oncology unit located in Asheville, NC, dedicated to providing personalized, long-term care to patients navigating cancer diagnoses and treatment. Our team includes surgeons, a medical oncologist, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs, Medical Assistants, and Schedulers who work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive and compassionate cancer care.
As a member of Mission Health, an operating division of HCA Healthcare, we serve as the regional tertiary and quaternary care center in Western North Carolina. Mission Hospital is a Magnet® designated hospital for nursing excellence and the region's only trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital. We are proud to be recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
This Registered Nurse position is designed for those who are passionate about education, care coordination, and building lasting, supportive relationships with patients facing serious, often life-changing diagnoses. Unlike roles focused solely on acute episodes, our patients are often with us for the duration of their cancer journey—from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. This continuity allows nurses to see the tangible difference their care makes over time.
You will provide leadership in facilitating professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to delegate, supervise, and document care for patients and their families. The role emphasizes a collaborative environment where nurses are integral members of the care team, working side-by-side with providers to encourage shared decision-making and professional growth.
The Hope Center fosters a strong sense of camaraderie where mutual respect, appreciation, and a shared mission of compassionate care guide our daily work. We value attitude, compassion, and commitment above all else. While oncology experience is a plus, we are specifically seeking individuals who are willing to learn, flexible, and eager to adapt to change. If you are ready to walk alongside patients through some of life's most important moments, we encourage you to join our family.
Our Talent Acquisition team is currently reviewing applications for this full-time, day-shift position. We invite you to submit your application today to help advance the practice of nursing.
We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
