With continuing education and advancement opportunities at every turn, you can build a long, successful career with Mayo Clinic.
This Registered Nurse (RN) position is part of our commitment to providing exceptional patient care across our continuum of care. Your role extends beyond direct patient care to include patient and family education, transitions of care, and supporting professional nursing practice.
You will serve as a leader within the team, engaging in preceptor roles, informal and formal leadership activities, and quality improvement efforts. The role requires delegating patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, and resource availability. You will possess excellent communication skills, skillfully mentor and teach others, and may participate on committees or projects. This position operates on a night shift schedule (3 x 12-hour shifts per week) and may require flexibility for weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as part of the role's responsibilities.
Just as our reputation has spread beyond our Minnesota roots, so have our locations. Today, our employees are located at our three major campuses in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona; Jacksonville, Florida; and Rochester, Minnesota. We also have Mayo Clinic Health System campuses throughout Midwestern communities and international locations. Each Mayo Clinic location is a special place where employees thrive in both their work and personal lives.
This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting and work effectively in a team environment.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
