UCHealth is dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care to adults with complex medical needs. Our Medical Progressive Care unit fosters an inclusive and innovative environment where interdisciplinary collaboration drives quality and safety initiatives. We are committed to a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement, ensuring every team member feels respected and supported.
The RN Fellowship in Medical Progressive Care is designed to build advanced clinical skills through a structured onboarding experience. You will serve as a vital member of the care team, managing patients with evolving conditions on a progressive care unit. This role goes beyond direct patient care; it involves interpreting clinical data, recognizing status changes requiring intervention, and collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers to develop individualized care plans.
As a fellow, you will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that includes classroom education, simulation, and precepted clinical shifts. This unique opportunity allows you to apply learned concepts immediately to practice while contributing to unit-based quality improvement projects and shared governance. You will play a key role in supporting safe transitions of care by educating patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and disease management.
Candidates selected for this fellowship will complete the UCHealth RN Fellowship/Residency program requirements. The program includes a structured blend of classroom learning and hands-on clinical training to ensure you are fully prepared for the demands of progressive care nursing.
UCHealth is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, ensuring a respectful and collaborative environment for all.
