About the Role

This position is located in the Emergency Room at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton. As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team providing professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will direct and manage the care of designated patients, utilizing effective communication styles to collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to proactively resolve patient needs.

In this role, you will synthesize data and knowledge to make decisions that optimize patient outcomes based on the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice. You will demonstrate a commitment to quality and safety through evidence-based practice, participate in research projects, and coordinate patient and family education to facilitate effective transitions of care. Additionally, you will function as a department team member, supporting unit and hospital goals while engaging in the performance improvement process.
