The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the healthcare team within our ambulatory care setting, dedicated to coordinating comprehensive care for patients, families, and significant others. This role goes beyond clinical tasks; it involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, and intervening in actual or potential health problems while evaluating patient responses to care. The RN is responsible for guiding team members to achieve shared care goals and implementing health maintenance strategies tailored to the patient's specific needs.
In this position, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of human growth and development across the lifespan. You will interpret patient data to identify requirements relative to age and specific needs, ensuring care aligns with established standards and policies. A key aspect of the role involves triaging sick and walk-in patients, establishing therapeutic relationships, and fostering a supportive environment that facilitates efficient patient flow.
We value a cooperative, friendly, and mutually supportive work environment where every team member contributes to patient safety and success. As a Registered Nurse, you will be expected to act as a mentor and supervisor for LPNs, Medical Assistants, and nursing students, sharing your knowledge to help develop the next generation of healthcare professionals. You will collaborate with the Family Practice team to ensure cost-effective resource utilization while maintaining a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward patients, families, and colleagues.
Candidates selected for an interview will be evaluated on their clinical competence, critical thinking abilities, and fit within our collaborative team culture. The process includes a review of licensure and certifications, followed by discussions regarding your experience in ambulatory, medical surgery, or ER settings. We are committed to finding individuals who demonstrate strong organizational skills and a dedication to continuing professional development.
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds to join our team.
