As a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit (ICU), you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on patient outcomes. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with the scope and standards of practice for your state and specialty. Working in collaboration with medical providers and the multidisciplinary care team, you will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."
In this role, you will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, modeling a commitment to our organization's vision and values. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing procedures and monitoring as ordered, documenting care thoroughly, and translating complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding. You will also teach patients and families about treatment plans, medications, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes to prepare them for future self-management. By managing evidence-based practices and collaborating on holistic treatment plans, you will help advance the practice of nursing and contribute to exceptional clinical outcomes.
