About the Role

We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our team at a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) serving individuals ages 5–21. In this role, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the holistic care of our residents.

Your day will involve performing frequent patient evaluations and assessments to assist in developing individualized plans of care. You will manage medication duties, including administration, documentation, and supervising staff members responsible for prescribed medications. A key part of your responsibilities involves observing, assessing, and recording client symptoms, reactions, and progress, ensuring timely communication of these results to attending physicians. You will also ensure nursing records are accurately maintained and documented in accordance with accreditation and Medicaid guidelines, while assisting in maintaining appropriate nursing staff coverage for all shifts.
