About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will assure quality nursing care by following physician orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies. You will administer medications as ordered, lead and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies, and assist physicians with rounds and patient examinations.
The day-to-day responsibilities include performing scheduled treatments, maintaining infection control measures, and assisting with the assessment of new admissions. You will also support research related to the quality of nursing care and ensure timely scheduling and documentation of patient physicals. Success in this position requires a genuine interest in geriatric nursing, the ability to make critical decisions regarding patient care, and a high degree of patience, tact, and cooperation with patients, families, and the broader medical team.
