About the Role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at the Parkview Health and Rehabilitation Center. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of quality nursing care, ensuring that every patient receives treatment that adheres to physician orders, state and federal regulations, and our facility's specific policies.

Your day will involve administering medications via various routes (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous) and leading the nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure work assignments are completed appropriately and on time. You will play an active role in patient care by assisting physicians during rounds, providing support during physical examinations and treatments, and maintaining strict infection control measures. Additionally, you will assist with the assessment of new admissions, scheduling annual physicals, and participating in research related to the quality of nursing care.

This position requires a genuine interest in geriatric nursing, patience, and the ability to make critical decisions regarding patient care with an understanding of the serious consequences involved. You will serve as a bridge between patients, families, doctors, and other departments, requiring flexibility, dependability, and strong cooperation skills.
