About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Pinehurst Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. In this role, you will be responsible for assuring quality nursing care for our patients by strictly following physician orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies. You will administer medications as ordered and lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.

Your day will involve assisting physicians with rounds, draping and caring for patients during physical examinations and treatments, and performing scheduled treatments while maintaining strict infection control measures. You will also play a key role in the admission process by assisting with records, orders, and assessments for new patients, as well as ensuring annual physicals are scheduled and documented on time. Success in this position requires the ability to make critical decisions regarding nursing problems with an understanding of the serious consequences involved, while demonstrating patience, tact, and genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
