This inpatient and outpatient Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) position is dedicated to the nutritional care of preoperative and postoperative liver transplant patients within our new Comprehensive Liver Transplant unit. Improving nutrition outcomes is a primary focus of this role.
The successful candidate will be exposed to various areas of transplant nutrition and will work collaboratively with a team of transplant dietitians. Excellent communication skills are essential for teaching patients and their families, dietetic interns, and a diverse range of healthcare providers. The role involves providing nutrition care activities in accordance with departmental policies, communicating with the healthcare team and food service managers, and providing in-services to staff.
