The Clinical Nutrition team is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based nutrition care across acute and outpatient settings. This role serves as a vital link between medical treatment and patient wellness, ensuring that nutrition plans are not only clinically sound but also tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
As a Clinical Nutritionist (Levels I or II), you will provide and document nutrition care activities in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Your day-to-day involves collaborating closely with the healthcare team and patient food service managers to address patient needs, while also providing in-services to staff and, where appropriate, mentoring dietetic interns. You will work in a fast-paced environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to frequent changes.
We foster a diverse and inclusive environment where adherence to the Code of Ethics for the profession of dietetics is paramount. You will be accountable for your actions and behavior, ensuring the highest standards of care. The role may require flexibility, including weekend shifts, evening appointments for pediatric outpatient positions, and travel to satellite clinics as needed.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited college or university. For Clinical Nutrition I, candidates may be registry eligible but must pass the Registered Dietitian (RD) exam within the first six months of employment. Clinical Nutrition II requires one or more years of experience in an acute care setting as an RD.
Interested applicants should review the specific licensure and experience requirements detailed in the full posting. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
