Regional Truck Driver — Portland, OR at Ryder System

Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Salem, OR. Day in the Life

As a Regional Driver, you will deliver solo freight to Oregon, Washington, and the northern tip of California. You will operate a day cab tractor with 42' and 48' flatbed trailers, utilizing a trailer-mounted forklift. Your responsibilities include handling freight that requires touching, strapping, and unstrapping. Ryder provides comprehensive training on all equipment needed to ensure your success.

Our trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 roadside maintenance. Drivers fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. You will work a Monday–Friday schedule, starting at 5:00 AM, with 40–50 hours per week. Drivers are treated as the Captain, empowered to make safety decisions with job protection.
