Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Salem, OR. Day in the Life

As a Regional Driver, you will deliver solo freight to Oregon, Washington, and the northern tip of California. You will operate a 36-month-or-newer day cab tractor with 42' and 48' flatbed trailers equipped with a trailer-mounted forklift. Your day typically starts at 5:00 AM, running Monday through Friday for 40–50 hours. The role involves handling freight that requires touching, strapping, and unstrapping. You will have the opportunity to earn per diem pay for 1–2 nights out per week.

Equipment and Support

Ryder provides top-tier equipment and support to ensure your success. Our trucks include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and drivers fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. We offer paid training on all equipment needed to be successful, including the trailer-mounted forklift.
