Regional Truck Driver - Flatbed

About the Role

Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Salem, OR. This position offers a driving career you can feel good about, featuring weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive environment. As a Company Driver, you will operate a day cab tractor with 42' and 48' flatbed trailers, delivering freight solo across Oregon, Washington, and the northern tip of California.

You will be the captain of your truck, making safety decisions while handling freight that requires strapping and unstrapping. Ryder provides a trailer-mounted forklift and trains you on all necessary equipment. Our trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 roadside maintenance. Drivers fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

We are upfront about pay, routes, and schedules so you can join the team with confidence. Our drivers earn $1342 or more per week, with an hourly rate of $27.51. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, starting at 5:00 AM, with 40–50 hours per week. You will also receive a per diem of $36.05 per night for 1–2 nights out per week.

We offer benefits other carriers do not, without the wait. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begins after 30 days, and you start with 80 hours of PTO on Day 1.
