About the Role
Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Solo Regional Truck Driver based in Greenfield, IN. This position offers a driving career where you can feel good about your work, delivering retail goods across Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, and Iowa. As a Company Driver, you will operate a 36-month-or-newer Super Sleeper tractor with a 53' Dry Van trailer, equipped with a pallet jack and lift gate. You will be the Captain of your truck, making safety decisions while enjoying a regional route that allows you to be home weekly.

The Day-to-Day
Your schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, with weekends during peak season, starting between 5:00 AM and 10:00 AM. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, detecting and eliminating safety hazards, and maintaining accurate records and logs. Depending on customer requirements, you may assist in loading and unloading freight. Trucks are maintained at over 800 facilities nationwide with 24/7 roadside maintenance support, and drivers fuel the trucks themselves.
