About the Role
Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Knoxville, TN, offering a driving career you can feel good about. This position is designed for drivers who want to go home daily while earning a competitive weekly salary of $1,050 or more. You will operate a 26' straight truck on a local route, delivering HVAC equipment and parts to Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia.
As a Ryder Driver, you are the captain of your vehicle. You will make safety decisions, and your job is protected. The role involves delivering solo, loading and unloading freight, and maintaining accurate records. Ryder provides comprehensive training on all equipment needed to be successful, including manual pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucks. The trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 roadside maintenance support.
