About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Contract Driver to operate a flatbed trailer on a regional Line Haul and LTL route. This position is designed for solo drivers (1099) who prefer a consistent schedule with minimal physical demands, as the role includes no driver load or unload duties. Drivers will be responsible for approximately 25% tarping tasks while covering an average of 1,400 to 2,000 miles per week.
Compensation and Schedule
Drivers can expect a gross total weekly average pay between $1,000 and $2,000. The schedule is built around a home-time structure where drivers earn two days of home time for every five days worked, ensuring a home weekend every week. While two days out are expected, drivers have the flexibility to stay out longer if they choose.
Hiring Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must hold a valid Class A license without specific restrictions, including (E) No Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, or (K) Intrastate Only. Additionally, applicants must possess at least two years of Over-The-Road (OTR) experience.
