Operating since 2016, Quality Life Science Transportation LLC treats its drivers as family rather than just numbers. We operate regionally and OTR, specializing in the transportation of pharmaceutical goods and general freight for 1099 Company Drivers and Owner Operators.
About the Role
Communication is key in this position. Drivers will transport pharmaceutical goods or general freight, typically following a schedule of 10 days on and 3 days off, or 14 days on and 4 days off. Drivers have the opportunity to stay out longer for higher earning opportunities and higher-paying loads. Due to the nature of the deliveries, parking is usually already set up by the shipper and receiver, eliminating the need for driver load or unload.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay is $1,600 per week, prorated based on any days requested off. After a 3-month probation period, performance is evaluated, and drivers may advance to $1,700 or $1,800 per week. Thereafter, performance is evaluated annually, with pay potentially maxing out at $2,000 per week. The role offers a gross total weekly average of $3,200 to $4,000 per team, with an average of 4,000 miles per week per team. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available per team.
Truck Amenities
All trucks are equipped with double sleeper bunks, fridges, microwaves, and TVs. Please note that pets and riders are not guaranteed.
Orientation Details
We offer paid orientation where accommodation is covered. Drivers receive their own room, and lunch, dinner, and breakfast are included. Travel expenses are also covered, either in full or in part.
