Operating since 2016, Quality Life Science Transportation LLC treats its drivers as family rather than just another number. We specialize in regional and over-the-road (OTR) transportation, serving both 1099 company drivers and owner-operators.
Communication is key in this position. Drivers transport pharmaceutical goods and general freight, primarily in refrigerated line-haul environments. The role involves no driver load or unload duties, as parking is typically pre-arranged by shippers and receivers.
The schedule offers flexibility with options for 10 days on/3 days off or 14 days on/4 days off. Drivers may also extend their time on the road for higher earning opportunities and premium loads. Teams can expect an average of 4,000 miles per week. All trucks are equipped with double sleeper bunks, fridges, microwaves, and TVs. Please note that pets and riders are not guaranteed.
Starting pay is $1,600 per week, prorated based on requested days off. After a 3-month probation period, performance evaluations determine advancement to $1,700 or $1,800 per week. Subsequent annual evaluations can increase pay up to a maximum of $2,000 per week. Teams can expect a gross total weekly average of $3,200 to $4,000. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available per team.
We offer a paid orientation program where accommodation is fully covered. Drivers are assigned their own rooms, and all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are included. The program also covers some or all travel expenses.
We are an equal opportunity employer.
