The Trane Technologies Regional Supplier Quality Engineer serves as a subject matter expert for supplier quality performance and maturity. You will work directly with strategic suppliers to improve their quality performance as received by Trane manufacturing sites and by final customers in the field. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with the Global Supplier Quality Manual as defined in the Trane Technologies Business Operating System (BOS).
In this position, you will collaborate with internal cross-functional team members, including field quality, operations, engineering, and procurement, to drive continuous improvement. You will provide servant leadership for the supplier corrective action program, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in handling non-conforming materials and corrective action requests. Your work will involve coordinating initiatives between manufacturing site Supplier Quality Engineers and suppliers to solve problems effectively, managing supplier-caused quality escapes, and supporting recovery initiatives related to warranty and production interruptions.
We strive to provide a transparent and efficient hiring experience. While specific steps may vary, candidates can expect to engage in a process designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural fit.
