System Transport has been hauling what builds America since 1972. We combine the resources of a large company with the personal feel of a small one, keeping the country running with drivers like you behind the wheel. Our mission is to transport essential goods and materials—including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals—across the western region of America. We are committed to the "America Proud, Flatbed Strong" ethos, ensuring our drivers are supported with modern equipment and a culture that values safety and fair pay.
As a CDL-A Regional Flatbed Truck Driver with Division 272 based in Denver, CO, you will operate on regional routes, enjoying home time on weekends. This role is designed for experienced drivers who want to transport critical infrastructure materials while maintaining a consistent schedule. You will drive meticulously maintained flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies, including lane departure warnings, forward collision systems, and satellite communication devices. Our 24/7/365 road service ensures that if a truck needs repairs, it will not return to the road until it is 100% safe for you to drive.
The day-to-day involves tarping approximately 70% of loads, requiring the physical ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform. Drivers are supported by an award-winning driver portal app that provides real-time updates, pay access, and trip data. We offer a transition package to help you settle in, including orientation pay for your first two weeks so you can focus on driving while we handle the rest.
To join our team, you must meet specific safety and experience qualifications, including a valid Class A CDL, being 21 years of age or older, and maintaining a safe driving record with no more than six jobs in the last three years. A background check, clean drug test, and clean Clearinghouse result are required. Additionally, all flatbed drivers must pass a physical test during orientation to demonstrate the ability to handle tarping duties.
Interested candidates should call 1-866-725-5083 to speak with a recruiter about route options and the pay package. Applications are accepted until the deadline of May 31, 2026.
System Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fair pay and equal opportunity for all employees. We do not allow pets on our trucks; however, riders aged 7 and up are permitted after 90 days of safe driving. We believe in supporting our drivers with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with matching, and a robust PTO accrual system.
