System Transport has been hauling what builds America since 1972. We combine the resources of a large company with the personal feel of a small business, serving as a home for drivers who want to keep the country running. Our mission is to transport critical goods and materials—including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals—across the western region of America. We are "America Proud, Flatbed Strong," and we are looking for experienced CDL-A drivers to join our Division 200 team based in Spokane, WA.
As a Flatbed OTR Driver, you will be responsible for transporting essential materials on regional and over-the-road routes. This role is designed for drivers who take pride in their craft and want to work with a fleet that prioritizes safety and modern technology. You will drive meticulously maintained flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge safety features, including lane departure warnings, forward collision warning systems, and hard brake monitoring. Every tractor is serviced 24/7/365, ensuring that no truck leaves the shop until it is 100% ready for the road.
The day-to-day involves tarping approximately 70% of loads, which requires the physical ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. Drivers will utilize our award-winning Driver Portal app to access real-time trip data, pay information, and communication tools. We offer a supportive transition package, including orientation pay, to help you settle in quickly while you focus on driving.
To join our team, you must meet specific safety and experience qualifications, including a valid Class A CDL, a clean drug test, and a clean Clearinghouse result. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a safe driving record and no more than six jobs in the last three years. While 4+ months of driving experience is required, we also value those with a year of experience. All flatbed candidates will undergo a physical test during orientation to verify their ability to handle tarping duties.
Interested candidates can call 1-866-725-5083 to discuss the pay package and route options with a recruiter. Applications are accepted until the deadline of May 31, 2026.
System Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fair pay and equal opportunity for all employees. We believe your safety is paramount, which is why we invest in the newest equipment and 24/7 support staff. While we do not allow pets, we do permit riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving. We strive to provide a culture where drivers feel supported, valued, and part of a team that builds America.
