Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physicians who are all equitable owners. Our ownership model provides autonomy, local control, and a national system of support, allowing you to focus your attention where it matters most—on your patients. As an equal and valued partner from day one, you gain financial transparency, a comprehensive benefits package including profit distribution, and multiple career development opportunities.
We have cultivated an environment where passion thrives and success comes through shared purpose. Founded on a "culture of brilliance," we value team accomplishments over individual achievements. Together, we leverage our strengths and experiences to make a positive impact in our local communities, fostering shared goals and helping colleagues succeed. We understand the importance of recognition and take the time to show appreciation and gratitude for a job well done.
With opportunities at 890 practices across the country serving 14.5 million patients annually, Vituity offers a unique mobility model: if you ever need to move, you can take your job with you. You are backed by a best-in-class corporate healthcare team and supported by the broad peer-level expertise of 6,000 Vituity clinicians.
As an Anesthesiology Regional Director, you will serve as a leader for all partners and employees in your region, ensuring the highest quality medical care and operational excellence. You will work collaboratively with Medical Directors, Practice Management staff, and Operations Consultants to review site performance, address challenges, and adjust practices to achieve profitability and solvency.
Your role involves managing debt forgiveness, coordinating contract negotiations with payers and managed care organizations, and operating new sites to budget. You will be accountable for site operational and quality performance, ensuring meaningful integration across the acute care continuum and assisting with new service line startups. Beyond financial and operational oversight, you will mentor Medical Directors, aid in recruiting and onboarding new providers, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
You will act as a proactive advocate for Vituity, representing the organization to hospital administration and nursing staff while maintaining strong relationships with medical staff. You are expected to model and communicate our cultural values, partnership principles, and patient-centered cause in all interactions. This role requires you to be a true owner of the message, communicating partnership strategy and initiatives to the site level with integrity and clarity.
At Vituity, we are committed to creating and demonstrating inclusivity. We codesign, build, and execute strategies, policies, and practices that cultivate equity, inclusion, and fair opportunity for all. We expect our leaders to be prepared to educate, mitigate, coach, and address daily bias and exclusion in partnership with site leadership. We lead with integrity by recognizing the voices and ideas of individuals in their respective sites or divisions, ensuring that every partner understands their fiduciary obligations as Vituity partners.
This is a remote, nationwide role with a specific requirement that candidates must be residing in the Midwest or on the East Coast. The position is open to licensed physicians holding an M.D. or D.O. degree.
