Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and deliver training on Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
- check_circleImplement evidence-based behavioral and educational strategies for student outcomes
- check_circleProvide crisis management intervention for aggressive or self-injurious behaviors
- check_circleSupport staff development through training on behavioral assessment and data collection
- check_circleProvide supervision to staff pursuing BACB certification
- check_circleAssist in developing improvement plans to enhance student performance and staff effectiveness
- check_circleEnsure adherence to Department of Education regulations and internal standards
- check_circleMaintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and compliance activities
- check_circleProvide operational support focusing on academic achievement and staff retention
- check_circleModel and reinforce instructional best practices to promote student growth
- check_circleCollaborate with teams to collect and analyze student behavior data
- check_circleConduct regular quality checks across campuses and recommend improvements
Requirements
- verifiedMaster's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or related field
- verifiedBoard-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential or in process of obtaining
- verifiedValid CA state driver's license or ability to obtain
- verifiedCrisis management training certification or ability to obtain
- verifiedSpecial education instruction credential preferred
- verifiedPrior experience in behavioral support, special education, or behavioral health settings
- verifiedExperience working with students with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism, or related disabilities
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database entry
Nice to Have
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an education specialist or special education instruction credential.
