Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is a growing, dynamic organization with a social mission to offer hope. As a division of ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, we are the nation's leading provider of alternative and special education programs for children and young adults. For over 50 years, in partnership with more than 235 school districts nationwide, we have helped change the direction of over 240,000 student lives.
We are a culture that welcomes innovation, encourages creative expression, and offers limitless potential for personal and professional satisfaction. At ChanceLight, we believe in providing more than just a job; we offer the opportunity to make meaningful impacts, the support needed to achieve success, and the tools essential to reaching your personal and professional fulfillment. Our culture is defined by growth, empowerment, and collaboration, where every day is a chance to transform lives through education.
As a Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of students in Grades K-12 across multiple Spectrum School locations in the SF Bay Area (Antioch, Pittsburg, Concord, Oakland, and San Pablo). You will provide tailored clinical and educational interventions designed to meet each learner's unique needs, working under the support of the Area/Regional VP of Operations and onsite Program Directors.
In this collaborative, goal-oriented environment, you will lead with expertise by guiding and mentoring your team through hands-on training and professional development. You will serve as the primary advocate for quality assurance, ensuring programs comply with applicable laws and regulations while reflecting best practices. Your day-to-day involves evaluating and elevating team performance, modeling instructional best practices, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote positive academic, social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes. You will also provide crisis management support for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behavior, developing strategies to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing.
We seek individuals who thrive in a mission-driven environment focused on meaningful outcomes for students with special education needs. If you possess strong problem-solving skills, compassion, a sense of humor, and exceptional dedication, you will find genuine purpose here. We are dedicated to empowering students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and unlock their full potential. Join us to make lasting impacts on the lives of students and contribute to the creation of a brighter future.
ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is valued and every team member can bring their authentic self to work.
